Jay Caloras
Managing Partner
Jay has over 15 years experience in private equity and alternative investment management. He has led transactions in the media, consumer, industrial, telecom, and other sectors, led operational technology transformations, and served on several boards. Previously, he was a senior investment professional at MHR Fund Management, where he participated in numerous aspects of the firm, and prior to that he was at Bain Capital. He also spent time at the Boston Consulting Group and Orbimed Advisors. He has an AB in Economics, cum laude from Harvard College with honors in field, and has completed studies in machine learning through Deeplearning.AI / Stanford. He currently sits on the board of Delta Bravo AI, and previously sat on the boards of Telesat (NASDAQ: TSAT), and Magnet Companies, among others.
Eduardo Garcia Fernandez
Managing Partner
Eduardo has been operating, investing in, and advising businesses for 15 years. As an investment management and M&A professional, he has led major transactions across media, entertainment, technology, and consumer sectors. In both his entrepreneurial and operator roles, Eduardo has successfully designed and implemented internationalization strategies, digital transformation initiatives, capital structure optimizations, and executed business exits. Previously, Eduardo was a senior member of the merchant banking platform at LionTree, where he invested dedicated funds and advised on landmark corporate transactions. Before, he was part of the M&A team at BofA Merrill Lynch in NYC. Eduardo holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Europea de Madrid and an MBA from NYU Stern. He is a native Spanish speaker.
